The Ocean Adventurer, formerly named Sea Adventurer, is a polar expedition vessel built in Yugoslavia in 1976. She underwent a $13 million conversion in 1998 and a complete refurbishment of her cabin interiors in 2014. In 2017, another refurbishment upgraded her technical specs to include two new engines, generators, gear boxes, drive systems and re-bladed propellers, resulting in fuel efficiency and a minimized carbon footprint. The multi-million dollar investment also included interior improvements such as bathrooms in every cabin, upgrades to the lounge and dining room, and the addition of new Deluxe cabins and Owner's Suites.
This ship's proud reputation has always been complemented by her well-appointed elegance. She is a traveler favorite because of her intimate feel with ample public space.
